Build the Ultimate Raspberry Pi Smart Door Lock
I've always had an interest in security, both in a physical sense and a virtual one, with online security being of ever more importance. I wanted to see how I could expand upon and improve the notion of Two Factor Authentication by adding in a third factor, and to apply it to a physical door lock instead. I can up with a system built around a Raspberry Pi which requires an RFID key fob, corresponding 6 digit PIN and then a one-time passcode sent to the user's phone via SMS.
